4. Third-party partners and data processing
To provide our services โ including processing transactions and offering quotes in multiple currencies โ we partner with a specialist service provider, TurnStay.
When you make a booking and payment, TurnStay processes the transaction on our behalf. To do so, TurnStay collects necessary personal information, such as your name, email and phone number, which is used exclusively for transaction-related communication and service delivery.
For the actual payment processing, TurnStay uses secure, PCI DSS-compliant payment gateways: Peach Payments (for transactions in ZAR) and Stripe (for other international transactions).
In line with the highest security standards, Afritrip T/A SAFARI.COM does not store, process or have access to your full payment card details on our systems. For identification and customer support, we may securely store the last four digits of your card number and its expiration date. All personal data handled by us and our partners is stored securely and is not shared, except when necessary to fulfil our services or comply with legal obligations.

We will retain your personal information for 90 days to 2 years after your account becomes inactive, or as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, as described in this privacy policy.
